Privacy Policy
This policy explains what data is collected when you use the Texomy website (texomy.com), Texomy Studio (studio.texomy.com), and the Texomy Architect Custom GPT, and how that data is handled.

Who we are
"Texomy" refers to the maintainers of the Texomy project. If you have questions about this policy or how your data is handled, contact us atprivacy@texomy.com.
Data we process
The Texomy services process the following data:
- Specification and sample text. When you use Studio or the Texomy Architect Custom GPT, the specification (YAML) and any sample input text you supply are sent to Texomy servers so they can be compiled and parsed. Do not submit personally identifiable information, credentials, or confidential business data as sample text.
- Studio session state. Studio may store your current specification and input locally in your browser (via
localStorage) so that your session persists across reloads. This data does not leave your browser unless you explicitly parse it. - Basic request metadata. Standard server logs (IP address, user agent, timestamp, path) are collected for security, abuse prevention, and operational diagnostics.
How the Custom GPT uses Texomy Actions
The Texomy Architect Custom GPT calls two Actions hosted on Texomy servers:
parseInput— sends a specification and sample input tostudio.texomy.comto compile and parse them, and returns the parsed result. Both the specification and the input are transmitted for this purpose.importStudio— sends a specification and sample input tostudio.texomy.comso that a shareable Studio URL can be generated. The imported session is stored temporarily on Texomy servers to support the shareable link.
These Actions do not send data to OpenAI beyond what is already exchanged with the Custom GPT itself. OpenAI's own privacy policy applies to interactions within ChatGPT.
How we use the data
Data submitted through Texomy services is used only to:
- Compile and execute your specification and return the parsed result.
- Generate shareable Studio import links when explicitly requested.
- Operate, secure, and improve the services (aggregated logs and metrics).
We do not sell your data. We do not use submitted specifications or sample inputs to train machine-learning models.
Data retention
- Parse requests are processed transiently. Payloads are held only for the duration of the request and are not persisted after the response is returned.
- Studio import sessions (created via
importStudio) are stored for a limited period to support the shareable link, after which they are deleted automatically. - Server logs are retained for a rolling window (typically no longer than 30 days) for security and operations.
Cookies and local storage
The Texomy website (texomy.com) does not set tracking cookies. Studio uses localStorage only to persist your current session state in your own browser.
Third parties
The Texomy website and Studio are hosted on infrastructure providers (including Cloudflare and Google Cloud) that process request metadata as necessary to deliver the services. The Texomy Architect Custom GPT runs on OpenAI's ChatGPT platform; the OpenAI privacy policy applies to your interactions there.
Your rights
You may request information about data associated with your use of Texomy services, or request its deletion, by writing toprivacy@texomy.com.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be indicated by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
